Address-IT Cloud
Address validation as a service. Add address search and validation to your website or application in an afternoon.
Address-IT Cloud is a hosted web service, powered by the Address-IT API engine. As your customers type, it suggests verified Australian addresses. When they pick one, it returns the address in a standard, deliverable format with geocodes and postal data.

- Type-ahead address search — suggestions appear after a few keystrokes, limitable to street addresses or postal addresses (PO Boxes, Locked Bags)
- Address validation and standardisation — any address goes in, a corrected, Australia Post-formatted address comes out, split into its parts
- AMAS-approved matching with DPIDs — each deliverable address gets its Delivery Point Identifier
- Geocoding — latitude and longitude with a confidence level
- Presort zones for bulk mail lodgements
- Address parsing — unmatched addresses are still broken into parts so they can be corrected
- PAF and G-NAF coverage — combining both data sets finds more addresses than either alone

- A simple REST/JSON API with an OpenAPI (Swagger) specification and full developer documentation
- Works from a web page or from your own servers (order systems, CRMs, batch jobs)
- Each API key is locked to your website's domain
- Australia Post data is updated every quarter, nothing to install or maintain

- View your licence and copy your API key
- Track usage against your plan with daily usage charts
- Try the address search demo before writing any code
- Read the developer documentation
Anyone can sign up for a free account on the Address-IT customer portal and try address search and validation in the live demo, with no code required.
On-premises & Desktop Tools
On-Premises & Desktop Address Tools, Same Engine as Address-IT Cloud
ISW's long-standing Address-IT products use the same AMAS-approved address engine and are still in use by organisations across Australia, from large mail houses to small businesses. They suit organisations that need to process addresses inside their own network, in bulk, or straight into existing applications.

Build AMAS-approved address matching into your own systems
- The core Address-IT engine, supplied as a library to build into your own software, together with ISW's compressed copy of the PAF — the engine behind every Address-IT product
- Address matching: matches addresses and returns all individual PAF components including the DPID; encodes DPIDs into Australia Post barcode strings; returns warning/error info explaining non-matches; joins components into a correctly formatted address with case options; returns PreSort zone for any postcode; produces match/non-match summary reports
- PAF browsing: search the PAF for exact or partial matches, step through results to build your own lookup screens; access any PAF information Australia Post provides
- Platforms: Windows, Linux and Solaris, with sample code provided

Bulk address cleaning and barcoding, made easy A Windows application that cleans address lists and databases for bulk mail, no programming needed
- Import from CSV, text, Excel, Access, dBase, Paradox, or live via ODBC
- Remove duplicates using different matching criteria
- Batch process — allocate DPIDs and barcodes, smart substitutions raise the match rate, each address gets a warning/error for non-matches
- Repair unmatched addresses with minimal keystrokes, searching on partial information
- Export to Excel, Access, text, HTML, or mail merge directly with Microsoft Office

Address entry made easy: less typing, fewer mistakes
- Type-ahead quick search — start with postcode or locality, most addresses found in a few keystrokes
- Advanced search for difficult addresses — individual address parts, wildcards, building or property name
- Works with your applications, including terminal ("green screen") sessions, with a layout wizard for different screens
- Microsoft Office integration, plus a simple API for tighter integration
- DPIDs and barcodes returned with each address
